Animal Collective - What Would I Want? Sky
There back! Animal Collective released the Fall Be Kind EP today, and it's simply brilliant. I can stop listening. A departure from Animal Collectives' previous sounds, which have summer/spring feels to them (previous track have been entitled Summertime Clothes, Fireworks, etc); Fall Be Kind affirms that Animal Collective can create sounds perfect for the fall/winter.

Why I haven't been able to blog, A Who's Who
I am dedicating this post to the reason I haven't posted in a long time. The AP program at Fayette County High School, mostly AP Literature. I have been spending most of my off time these past few weeks writing a multi-page essay that I worked really hard on and will most likely fail.
Thanks should also be given to the following institutions of higher learning that I am seeking admission, and have been writing essays, taking part in useless interviews, and begging teachers, the President and my congressman; basically anyone with a title for recommendations and nominations:
American University
Auburn University
Drexel University
Georgia State University
University of the Pacific
United States Military Academy at West Point
United States Coast Guard Academy
Uranius College
Seton Hall University
SUNY Maritime
American is my number one choice. If I don't get in, I'll join the circus.
- West Point and the Coast Guard Academy, are those "big reaches", schools that a student applies too knowing that he/she won't get in, but is applying to just because he or she can. In my case, it is because my parents think its a good idea and "won't hurt to try". I most likely will be told to go to prep school for both.
- Auburn and Georgia State are those colleges that your applying to just because you know that you'll get in and knowing that makes you feel warm inside, but you don't want to go to.

Miike Snow - Burial
Miike Snow are Andrew Wyatt, Christian Karlsson, and Pontus Winnberg. Named after an acquaintance with an “i” added for extra flair, Miike Snow recently signed with Downtown records. Their self-titled debut was released May 12, 2009. They are based in Sweden. Not only is the track (Burial) amazing, but this video is equally beautiful.
